Coordination with the Faculty of Engineering in Order to Obtain the Academic Accreditation (ABET)
Administrative Decision :
The dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, in the light of his authorities and aiming at the continuous development of the faculty and based on the public interests has made the following decisions:
First: appointing team work members for the Quality Project as follows:
- HE Dean of the Faculty chief
- HE Vice Dean member & secretary of the committer
- Her Excellency Vice Dean member
- HE Chairman of the Computer Sciences Dept. member
- HE Chairman of the Information Technology Dept. member
- HE Chairman of the Information Systems Dept. member
- Her Excellency the Supervisor of the Computer Sciences Dept. member
- Her Excellency the Supervisor of the Information Technology Dept. member
- Her Excellency the Supervisor of the Information Systems Dept. member
- HE Dr. Ayman Bin Ghazi Fayoumi Coordinator for the Information Technology Program
- HE Dr. Saleh Bin Mohammed Al-Shumarni Coordinator for the Information Systems Program
- HE Dr. Ahmed Bin Mustafa Barnawi Coordinator for the Computer Sciences Program
- HE Dr. Abdulqadir Seit Director for the Faculty Administration
Second: the team work members should assign the mechanisms and criteria of the academic quality for the faculty which comply with the International Academic Accreditation (ABET) and the National Accreditation (NCAAA).
Third: the period of the commissioning of the team work of the project is one year.
Fourth: The whole faculty sections should cooperate with this committee.
Fifth: This decision makes void all the other decisions that contradict with it.
Sixth: A monthly report should be presented to the dean of the faculty by the secretary of the committee briefing him with the achievements of the committee.
The chairmen of the departments should provide an office for their members. Then there will be an appointed secretary for the committee members of each department.
